He's master of preparation

Matthew 4:1 says Jesus was led by the Spirit to go into a time of prayer and fasting. Jesus was about to enter a test in His life. And the Holy Spirit, knowing it beforehand, led Jesus to strengthen Himself. And Jesus listened, spending serious time in spiritual disciplines.

Do you suppose the Holy Spirit also knows what's about to happen in your life? Of course He does. Of all those reading this, He knows who the next person is that will be tempted just like Jesus, or lose their job, or deal with a serious illness or have a close family member die.

Did you read the scripture at the above link? Did you notice verse 11? Jesus won! The Spirit of God doesn't just want to help us deal with problems when they happen. If we will listen, He will help us prepare for them beforehand to defeat them!
