we're announcing a new prayer emphasis for the month of may - begins today!
a lot of exciting things have happened at 29:11 over our first five years - and we've had a lot of challenges - but God has answered every one of them!
the civic center is an awesome place to worship God - to invite our friends and family to - it's even a great conversation starter - yet we still face the need for a permanent space
the next few weeks are very important - we have steps to take - decisions to make - more challenges that we must face - and we have families with needs - but do you see what I see? - every time God calls us to prayer amazing things happen! - so i am looking forward to this month of prayer - and the results that will come from it
God has led us to specific prayer scriptures
these are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of david. what He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. "I know your deeds. see, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut."
revelation 3:7-8
so we pray for God to open doors He wants us to walk through and close the ones we shouldn't
we ultimately ask God to choose our next space
the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. on the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 corinthians 10:4-5
by God's power within us we demolish strongholds, pretensions and arguments
we bring every thought captive to the will of Jesus
and we pray God’s sovereign will over 29:11 and our families
