God is looking for obedience "by the sea" - that's simply a euphemism for your everyday places
anyone can be obedient at church - anyone can follow His direction there - but miracles came to those Jesus found in faith and obedience "by the sea" - places like work - shopping - your school - even facebook
in the middle of all the rants and self-promoting posts i wonder how many of us think before hitting "post"
think about it this way - as a christian what do I want people to see in me? - do I want them to know i'm angry? offended? - shouldn't we want people to know we can rise above it all in Jesus' name - so that they can too?
is it that important people know where I stand on controversial issues - or my own personal likes - and many dislikes - that I stand up for myself? - aren't we supposed to share Jesus above all?
i'm not saying only post and talk about scripture - but when people read me what do they see? - do they have to dig through all the stuff - all the complaints - the self-verbiage - and maybe catch a slight glimpse of Jesus? - shouldn't Jesus be on open display? - in all I say and do?
Jesus is looking for faith - and obedience - perhaps a greater question than all the above is "will He find it in me?"
