i believe in household salvation - call it wishful thinking if you want - but i believe the Bible teaches it - throughout
i love that thought from sunday's sermon - from the original passover - not everyone in the house was righteous - but all were saved! - through the obedience of the dad - the man of the house - because he used the blood - so use the blood
hebrews 9:22 tells us that nearly everything is cleansed with blood - so plead the blood of Jesus over your lost family members - whether you're their father or not you are in the family - so plead the blood - ask God to begin working on that unsaved family member - ask Him to draw them to salvation
you can't accept Jesus for them but you can pray God's love over them - through the blood - believe God to continually display Himself to them - to draw them to Him - until they accept Jesus themselves
last night was very poignant as we looked at scripture on the end times - we live in a great moment of history - there has never been a people so blessed with religious freedom as we are - at least here in the u.s. - yet as these days draw to a close - what then? today is your lost family member's best opportunity to know God - and you are their connection to Him
plead the blood - say the prayers - believe God - live it and talk it in front of them
