i've never tried to catch a lamb - i would imagine you'd get better the more practice you got - so maybe it wasn't that hard for an old shepherd - but there is still some effort involved - chasing it down - wrestling with getting a rope around its neck

effort - that's what the follow-through is about today - anyone can buy a sheep online - probably - anyone can order leg of lamb at a restaurant - but worship without effort isn't worship

consider thank you cards - the kind you get from a high school senior - 6 months after they received your heartfelt gift - the gift you paid too much for - the gift you spent weeks looking for - or thinking about - or planning - and the card you get says "thanks for the gift"

no a lot of effort - not a lot of gratitude - wouldn't call it worship
