Jehovah Jireh

the table of showbread in solomon's temple represented Jesus and His sacrifice - it represents His provision for us - and every time a priest walked by and saw the bread on the table he was reminded there was bread in israel - the fact that bread was present was a reason to be thankful to God

Jehovah Jireh - that was just one of the names they called God - it means the Lord Who Provides or the Lord will Provide - He does so much for us - we should thank Him for all of it - but today let's thank Him for being our Jehovah Jireh

look around you right now - no matter where you are - there is evidence of Jehovah Jireh in your life - your home - your job - your family - your friends - lunch - cars - clothes - food - even if you're reading this on you iphone sitting in the doctor's office - you're getting medical care - you have health insurance

don't ignore His blessings on your life today - don't take them for granted - don't take Him for granted - thank Him for being your Jehovah Jireh
