2 peter 2:20 for if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
the junk culture slips into your trunk won’t make you a better person - not a better Christian - it will drag you down - and down - it will continue to do so - and leave you worse off than ever before - it will begin destroying your life - the things you hold dear - the things you treasure

just like job we have to keep up the regular daily efforts of ridding our lives of culture junk - talk with God about your relationship with Him - daily - keep everything clear between you and Him - you can’t live any old way and be blessed like He wants to bless you - and daily ask for God's grace and strength to handle any new junk that tries to creep back in
