one last post on that cool story in 2 kings...
when the four dying men decided to do something – not sit still until they died – what they didn't know was what lengths God had already gone to for their victory/blessing/miracle
the word of promise had already been spoken – by God no less – but they didn't hear it – they were outside the city – too far away to hear the prophet speak God's word
i wonder – what promise has God already spoken about you that you haven't heard?
the promise was true even though they didn’t hear it – and it meant that:

the promise was true even though they didn’t hear it – and it meant that:
- God was ready! He had spoken – already – before they knew about it – before any hope of victory or blessing was in sight – God is ready
- their enemy was ready to be defeated – they were so easily scared – it was obvious God had already put a fear in their heart
- the army of God was ready – waiting just outside town!
so i have 2 questions:
- how long will you keep the army of God waiting?
- how long will they wait?
